The Reading/Writing series referred to Hassidic literacy ceremonies in which when a boy
is three he is taken to school for the first time and asked to lick honey off the Hebrew letters so
the first experience of language would be sweet.

The series, to whom Goldvicht adds a video every year since 2005, re-examines the
relationship between language and the body, specifically the Hebrew letters.
